The Safari Series

The camp is set in Lolldaiga Hills, a private conservancy in Northern Kenya, which overlooks the slopes of snow-capped Mt. Kenya. It’s a beautiful canvas camp situated deep in the bush, overlooking an often-frequented watering hole. During your stay make sure to walk, drive, climb and camp in lush woodland or dry savanna in search of lions, leopards and elephants or leave the wildlife behind and spend time learning from Maasai elders; lessons on leadership, courage and tradition – be prepared to discover something about yourself too.

When the day is done, venture back to camp in one of their vintage Series I or II Land Rovers.

The Safari Series has a fleet of custom-built Land Rovers made for the bush and for game viewing, included in the fleet are long wheelbase game viewing vehicles that you can drive yourself.

Use eco-friendly products across the camp to minimise soil depletion and chemical run-off, including Cinnabar Green and Grounded
Use of solar power only in the camp, keep a grey water system in place to conserve water and (2022 goal here!) implement a biodigester to create gas for cooking using food waste
Keep our camp small (6 rooms) which means no mass tourism in areas our natural beauty, but also keep it affordable so it is not only the rich who visit such places
Starting in 2021, The Safari Series has pledged to give away 100% of their net profits towards Conservation, Communities and Research as a way to better this land for future generations.

6 tents, each tent comes with a large comfortable bed, solar power for lights and charging devices, space for storing your personal items and an en-suite bathroom, which includes a carved wooden sink, a flushing loo and hot showers.
