Finch Hattons is a luxury tented camp that combines its love for Tsavo’s neighbouring national parks with world-class facilities. Part of Tsavo West, it’s so isolated that you’d be forgiven for forgetting the rest of the world entirely. Here it’s just you, a vast and varied terrain stretching away in every direction, and the many animals who call Tsavo home.

Designed to be minimally intrusive, all of the camp’s 17 suites offer sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, plus total privacy. Their open-plan design invites in the cool breezes which flitter over nearby natural springs, and bring the African bush’s  sounds and scents directly to you. The result? A one-on-one experience with Africa; the bush in all of its immediate and unapologetic glory.

  • Combining its West and East areas, Tsavi is Kenya’s largest national park and one of its oldest. Dating to 1948 and totalling around 23,000 square kilometres (almost 9,000 square miles), it’s 15 times the size of the Maasai Mara and bigger than numerous European countries.
