Bordering the Giraffe Centre’s forest in the peaceful Nairobi suburb of Langata, Eden’s four-acre estate lets travellers enter a deeply authentic expression of one family’s Kenyan history and adventures.
Designed and built by German-born fashion designer Anna Trzebinski and her Playboy artist husband Tonio, the nine-bedroom former family home has been transformed into a living museum and private gallery space filled with that family’s own artworks and creations, plus a library and artefacts consummated over a lifetime spent travelling across the continent.
Whilst staying at Eden, hotel guests have the opportunity to enjoy a fully immersive contemporary cultural experience. Eden also prides itself in being a platform from which to experience modern Nairobi in a unique, insider way.
Along with the city’s most interesting restaurants, eclectic shopping experiences and artist studios, Nairobi National Park, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre are all within a short drive.
